SpaceX (NASDAQ:
SPCX) has launched a partner network to help businesses deploy and build on its Grok artificial intelligence (AI) systems, Bloomberg reported on Thursday, October 22, 2026. Nvidia (NASDAQ:
NVDA) and Apollo Global Management are among the participants.
What was announced
According to Bloomberg and The Next Web:
- the programme is called the Super Intelligence Partner Network
- more than 130 firms joined at launch, from the technology, financial and consulting sectors
- named partners include Nvidia, Apollo, Snowflake, Databricks, Bain & Company and Booz Allen Hamilton
- some partners will help companies roll out Grok across their organisations, while others will build software that connects Grok to tools customers already use
- partners will receive training and support from SpaceX
What Grok is
Grok is a family of AI models and assistants developed by SpaceX's Super Intelligence business, which was formed after SpaceX acquired xAI in February 2026. Grok can be used to answer questions, write and analyse text and code, and carry out tasks. Grok Bot is a version designed to work on business tasks.
According to The Next Web, SpaceX president Gwynne Shotwell said on the company's earnings call that Grok Bot had more than 800,000 paying weekly users in October, double the previous month.
The Super Intelligence business
In the third quarter of 2026, SpaceX reported revenue of $7.56 billion in its Super Intelligence segment, compared with $813 million a year earlier. According to Bloomberg, most of this revenue came from renting computing capacity rather than from selling Grok. A partner network is one way for AI companies to reach more business customers.
Why partner networks matter
Large companies often rely on consulting firms, systems integrators and software partners to adopt new technology. These partners help with planning, data preparation, security and training. Software companies have long used partner networks to sell to businesses, and AI developers are now building similar programmes.
Nvidia's role
Nvidia makes the graphics processors used to train and run AI models, and it works with many AI developers and cloud providers. Its participation in the network adds to its existing work with SpaceX and other AI companies. Apollo Global Management, an asset manager, was among the first financial firms to test Grok after helping to finance computing chips for SpaceX's AI business, according to Bloomberg.
How businesses use AI assistants
Companies use AI assistants to summarise documents, answer customer questions, write software code and automate routine tasks. To use these tools safely, businesses usually need to connect them to their own data and systems, set rules on who can access information and train staff. This is one reason why AI developers work with consulting and data companies.
Competition in business AI
Several large technology companies and AI developers are competing to sell AI tools to businesses. Customers often compare providers on the quality of their models, price, security and how easily the tools fit into existing software. Partner programmes can help a provider reach customers that already work with consulting firms or data platforms.
What to watch
Key items include the number of businesses that adopt Grok through the network, any new partners, and comments on Super Intelligence revenue in SpaceX's next quarterly results. Competition among AI providers for business customers may also be relevant.
Risks and uncertainties
The business AI market is highly competitive, and adoption may be slower than expected. Details of the programme come from media reports and may change. Technology shares can be volatile.
